Reckless driving is a serious matter that endangers everyone. Since reckless driving may be classified as a misdemeanor or felony, this time-sensitive and unsafe condition can escalate into a serious emergency that requires a police response. The non-emergency nature of a 311 service request may result in the reckless driver leaving the area before police are able to investigate.
