Just one of the many new types of items introduced with Red Dead Online’s Summer Update are Horse Masks.

These cool accessories give your trusty, noble steed a whole new look and really help you to stand out from the line of other nags hitched up outside the corral.

Red Dead Online Horse Masks

Most players’ first interaction with Horse Masks is via the Outlaw Club rewards. In the progression section of your menu, it says that your horse club rewards are sent to the stable - but where?

What you have to do is:

• Head to your nearest stable
• Go into “Tack and Services”
• Go into “Saddles”
• Select your current saddle
• Go down to the bottom of the list, where you’ll see the “Masks” option

From there you can equip your favoured selection.

The Outlaw Club grants players 70 new tiers of items to unlock as they play the game, so there are plenty more cosmetics to enjoy.

Red Dead Online’s Summer Update added a whole host of new features, including free roam activities, but also addressed long-standing issues with player movement and other quality of life niggles.

The headline addition from the update though is Frontier Pursuits, where you can become a bounty hunter, trader, or collector, catching bad guys, making your fortune, or just exploring the west.

To get started with each of the pursuits you have to speak to each role’s main tutor. For Collectors that’s the travelling saleswoman Madam Nazar, whose location changes every day when the challenges update.
