In Red Dead Redemption 2 you can buy masks as a clothing accessory but they also keep your identity concealed during robberies and people won’t recognize you so easily when you’ve committed crimes and return to the area, but are wearing a mask.

Quite simply, masks in RDR2 are bought from Fences (a type of vendor that buys and sells stolen goods).

There are 3 Fences that sell you masks.

In the town of Rhodes:

 

In Saint Denis:

 

In Van Horn Trading Outpost:

 

You can go to any of the three. Afterward, the mask can be equipped from your horse!

How to Equip Mask

You must sit on your horse (or stand next to it), open the weapon wheel, press R1/RB to switch to the “horse item wheel” and select the mask in the bottom left. You can switch there between masks by pressing R2/RT on the mask (if you own multiple versions).

#3 – Cloth Mask

#4 – Metal Skull Mask

#5 – Pyscho Mask
