Red Dead Redemption 2 how to open safe

Open safes in Red Dead Redemption 2 and you can find yourself with a lot of cash. In the following guide, we’ll show you a few ways in which you can open a safe and fill your wallet.

There initially appears to be no way to open a safe, but it’s actually quite logical. Get as close as you can to a safe and aim at the hinges with either your tomahawk or your throwing knives. This should open the door.

However, in some instances, we’ve found this doesn’t always work. If you’ve found a safe that you can’t open, just place a stick of dynamite next to it and it will blow the door clean off!
