Hi there guys! We always get a LOT of asks about account loss so here’s a post to help remedy it. In all honesty, 99.9% of the problems could be solved if people kept their transfer information safe (through BOTH screenshots and physically writing it down) but a surprising amount of people don’t do this! To make it easier we decided to make a guide about transfer IDs and about how to contact support in the case your account is lost.

Update 3/2/17: Transfer codes no longer work, as the game has changed to a new dual ID/password system. This guide has been updated to reflect this.

Q. How do I issue a transfer ID?

It’s very easy! Simpy open the menu and click the button as shown below:

It’ll then take you to the transfer menu where you can either view the ID you already have or issue a new one.

If it is your first time issuing your transfer ID the screen will look like this:

If you want a new transfer ID, press the 登録 button to the left. This will then take you to this screen:

This screen is now asking you to issue a password. You will need the password when you try to transfer your data. You can input any password of your choice as long as it is:

between 8 and 12 characters
comprised of letters and numbers (other characters won’t work)

Make sure you follow these rules, or else you’ll keep getting an error and won’t finish this process. You have to input the same password in both spaces.

This is an example of how it should be with the password “idolish7″. (Don’t do this though, please choose a safer password that isn’t easy to guess like this one.) Once you’re done inputting the password and it is valid, press the pink button on the bottom.

Congratulations, it’s all done! Take a screenshot of this screen before you go back to playing. It would be all for naught if you don’t write down your ID and password. (If you’re planning on stealing this account, don’t. It’s a reroll account with no SSRs.)

PLEASE SAVE YOUR TRANSFER ID AND PASSWORD IN A SAFE PLACE. This is the most essential thing in most mobile games. In the case you change to a new phone, your transfer ID is the only thing that can keep your account safe and secure. Take screenshots, write it down in your (private) notebook, do whatever it takes to keep it safe. (Unless you don’t want your account anymore. That’s fine also.) iTunes backup for iOS users also works but I wouldn’t rely on it too much.

Again, PLEASE KEEP YOUR TRANSFER ID SAFE. We at idolish-seven are not technical support and can only refer you to Bamco’s support page (shown below) which is all in Japanese. KEEP YOUR IDS SAFE.

Q. If I’m transferring my account from one device to another, where do I input my transfer ID?

You insert it here!

No it is not like Love Live when you can just input it in the game settings at any time. You must do it on the home screen. Select the button highlighted above, which’ll take you to a new screen.

If this is a new account, you can also issue an ID and Password by selecting the pink button, but if you want to transfer an account over, then select the second button. Input your ID and Password and press the pink button to confirm!

If you get an error after inputting in your ID and password, try again in case you inputted it wrong. If you’re certain that it’s right and there’s an error, contact support. (Asking us won’t do much because all we can say is that you might have inputted it in wrong.)

Q. How many times can I use my transfer ID?

It currently looks like you can use it as many times as needed. The ID is permanently tied to your account. You can change your password if you want, but you don’t actually need to.

Q. Will my transfer ID only include my data at the time I issued it?

Nope! Your transfer information holds ALL of your account data. If you were rank 4 when you issued your code and now you’re at rank 49, you will still be at rank 49 when your ID is inputted!

However, if you are transferring from iOS to Android or vice-versa you WILL lose stellar stones!! Please keep this in mind! (FP and tickets will still be OK.)

Those seem to be the most asked questions, for transfer IDs at least. Now on to how to contact support! If anything goes wrong in the game and we can’t answer, your next bet is to contact the IDOLiSH7 support team. Unfortunately, you’ll have to contact them in Japanese as they won’t reply to anybody who writes emails in foreign languages. The admins can’t help you with the email contents itself but we can at least translate what it says on the support pages!

Note: this doesn’t apply to only transfer problems; if you failed making a stellar stone purchase or are experiencing problems in the event, support is there for you! However, the options to choose are different depending on your problem.

This is what will appear. Click on the orange box (top left) if you are an Android user, and the blue one (top right) if you are an iOS user if you have a problem with the game. However, if you want your account back, don’t press on those. Click the blue and orange boxes to send inquiries about in-game bugs and questions.

After everything is filled, you must agree to the notice on the bottom about their privacy policy before sending.

Click the purple box to send inquiries about data transfer. You can find a guide for filling out that form here.

Looking at experiences from other people, the staff won’t take too long to respond. If you have a problem, they’ll do the best they can to help you fix it. ^^ Hope this helped!
