I cry and cry thru out the night.

Against your abuse I fight.

I can't see a way out.

Of your hatred I have no doubt.

What I don't know is why.

Your parents aren't supposed to make you cry.

In some way did I hurt you.

What did I do.

Why do you hate me so.

The pain in my heart you will never know.

Every time you hit

my heart you destroy bit by bit.

Can you ever love me.

Or is your hatred all I will ever see.

I will be good.

Love me please as parents should.

Each time you deliver a blow.

My spirit you shatter and the world will never know.

Who I might have been.

If you hadn't hurt me again and again.

Pain and hate is all I will ever show.

The bright light of my soul is now a mere glow.
