kubuzCustomer Hi, Is there any documentation available on how the make the parametric round corners in Blender. I tried a few ways, but I can’t get it to work. Is someone willing to explain a bit ?

kubuzCustomer I found it. I put some thoughts here for later reference, or if someone stumble on the same issue. The following work can be done.
– Create a copy of your model, and place it on the same position. – Apply for each, a bevel in edit mode. Its not possible to use the modifier, cause you cant apply it, if other shape keys exist. – Set the 2 bevels equal segments, cause the 2 models need to have the same number of vertices. – One should have the minimum radius, the other one a bigger radius. (take some thing easy to handle in the puzzles. -Last thing that is left. Select the shape with the biggest radius first, then the smaller one and select join as shape. (see screenshot)
Result:
Update. I was messing around with the shape keys in combination with modifiers. And the same technique works also. The only thing you need to do is, removing the modifiers before applying the keys.

cheers!!
GLiFTeKCustomer Hi Wow Great stuff man.
This is what I’m taking about, complications pondered then solutions explained in detail for others to come across in search of the same.
Real nice with the visuals.
Have you ever messed with “latheing” a profile shape?
I’ve gone through the gamut with them, found the best way for using shape-keys with keyframes, but am aiming to go the svg-buffer-geometry three.js class route.

Hi
I`ve worked out the shapekeys for bevel, and it seems to work ok in blender, but in verge it renders hollow, anyone any thoughts?

Mikhail LuzyaninStaff Try to force inversion for this face or upload an example blend file here I will look at it.

Mikhail LuzyaninStaff Unfortunally, for now you cant start to make corners from such small size of faces, you will need to multiply base position of the corner may be ij 50 or 100 times.
