My AC would go from hot to cold for no reason. I replaced the temperature control actuator. I have single manual factory air. The AC works fine and for no reason still goes to hot. If you turn off the engine it seems to reset and work. I replaced the control head about 6 months ago. Does any one have any ideas

DTC B0413 02: Temperature Control 1 Feedback Circuit Short to Ground (CJ3) DTC B0413 05: Temperature Control 1 Feedback Circuit Short to Battery or Open (CJ3) DTC B0413 61: Temperature Control 1 Feedback Circuit Actuator Stuck Open (CJ3) DTC B0423 02: Temperature Control 2 Feedback Circuit Short to Ground (CJ3+C67) DTC B0423 05: Temperature Control 2 Feedback Circuit Short to Battery or Open (CJ3+C67) DTC B0423 61: Temperature Control 2 Circuit Actuator Stuck (CJ3+C67) Did you have Actuator Recalibration done after replacing the actuator or control module ? Your best bet ,take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop . Preferred Method (w/ Scan Tool) Clear all DTCs. Place the ignition switch in the OFF position. Install the HVAC actuator. Connect all previously disconnected components. Start the vehicle. With the scan tool, initiate the Motor Re-calibration feature of the Heating and Air Conditioning Special Functions menu. Verify that no DTCs have set as current DTCs.

ase mechanic: there are separate actuators for the blend doors. one for heat and one for cool. they work opposite and in conjuction with each other, if that makes any sense. ones open, ones close, for each different climate. sounds like the the cold one isn't opening in the rear.

For a 95 Chevy Silverado....I replaced the Blend Door Actuator on the passenger side. Just behind the slide out cup holder. Yo ucan acces easily by removing the ash tray piece and the glove box....Or just the glove box and work like hell to get a socket in a tight place. There are 2 actuators....one controlling the (Mode and Temp 89018681) and the other the (Air Inlet 89018367). I called the dealer and the parts were 85-125. I got it From TBA Auto (local store) for 39.00. A 20 min job at most.

SOURCE: My AC is blowing out
this problem is caused by either a sticking air temperature control blend door or a defective electric blend door actuator, u must pull the dash to replace either part, a factory repair manual and a high level of repair skill is required, the job will take about 12 hours with a manual.
