Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has been well received by fans, with it being one of the top 5 most played games on steam in 2019 and winning the award for 4th best PS4 game of 2019. It has received review scores of 90% on Metacritic and 9/10 on Steam, with players praising its challenging nature, graphics and storyline.

As an action adventure game, Sekiro provides players with an immersive exploration environment set in Japan. Gameplay is based around combat and agility and follows a ninja called ‘Wolf’ who is looking to find and seek vengeance on a clan who attacked him and who are holding his master captive.

The game was developed by From Software, a Japanese development company most famously known for its 2015 game Bloodborne and was published by Activision on 22nd March 2019. Those who wish to experience Sekiro can access it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.

Sekiro Save Game Location

On Sekiro, your save data is stored locally on your own computer.. not in the cloud. For this reason, you may have to access your save files if you ever move computer, want to create a backup, modify them, or share them with friends.

Thankfully, they're very easy to locate. You can find your Sekiro save files at this path:

%AppData%\Sekiro

To access that path:

  1. Open a Run window - this can be done by right clicking the start menu button in the bottom left and clicking Run, or hitting WINDOWS + R on your keyboard at the same time
  2. Paste %AppData%\Sekiro into the text field
  3. Hit OK
  4. Voila!
