PBRC encourages responsible pit bull ownership and by spay/neutering American Pit Bull Terriers and any mixes thereof, ultimately helping to lower the euthanasia rate of the breed. Pit Bulls are facing an epidemic of homeless, according to statistics 65% of shelter animals are Pit Bulls.Spayed and Neutered animals live longer, healthier and happier lives. Altering animals also reduces behavioral problems, making them better companions and neighbors.Spaying/Neutering also:

Free and Low Cost spay Neuter programs for Pit Bulls
Thank you for making the choice to alter your dog. There are many resources available for owners/caretakers to receive low-cost or free spay/neuter. Since PBRC has limited funds we ask you to check out the following links before applying for assistance to determine if there are low-cost programs in your area using the organizations below. Be sure to check with your local shelters and animal control facilities - many times they may know of additional resources in your area.We can not reimburse for surgeries that have already been completed.All funding must be pre-approved and we only pay the vet clinic directly. Please note - this application is ONLY for assistance with spay or neuter. Thank you for making the choice to alter your dog. There are many resources available for owners/caretakers to receive low-cost or free spay/neuter. Since PBRC has limited funds we ask you to check out the following links before applying for assistance to determine if there are low-cost programs in your area. Applicant will receive an automatic email when application is submitted. Applicant is required to reply to the email received to start the funding process. If you choose not to please understand that PBRC will automatically withdraw your application. Your participation is also expected in looking for low cost options in your area, contacting them and relaying the detailed information back to PBRC for funding consideration. Lastly, your full participation in communication via email is mandatory and expected throughout the process to completion.
