This homemade strawberry juice is made with fresh ingredients, blended together to keep all of that nutritious goodness in the glass. The strawberries and small amount of sugar keeps the drink sweet, while the lemon juice gives it a slight tartness, perfectly balancing the flavors. No juicer is required to make this recipe.

The other good thing about being made in a blender? This means less cleanup and less time spent before being able to sip on this refreshing beverage. I love the strawberry flavor that is just as fruity and tasty as my strawberry liqueur. It's naturally bright red in color.
This drink is perfect for spring and summer and my kids don't mind replacing sugary, colored drinks for this fresh, fruity juice.

Ingredients
This recipe uses minimal ingredients and there is no juicing step. Just blend everything together and it's ready to drink! It makes a pitcher of juice but if you would like just one serving, divide the recipe by 4.

- strawberries - fresh and ripe
- sugar - or agave nectar
- lemon juice - freshly squeezed--this gives it natural strawberry lemonade vibes
- water - either tap water or filtered
- ice cubes - to serve

Tweaks
- Strawberry Kiwi Flavor. For a fun variation, you could add some fresh kiwi to the blender as well. The combination reminds me of the strawberry kiwi Fruitopia I used to drink as a kid.
- Turn it into a cocktail. Try adding some white rum to make it adult-fun-friendly.
How to Make Strawberry Juice

Step 1: Fill blender. Add the lemon juice, water, chopped strawberries and sugar to a blender.

Step 2. Blend. Blend until you have a smooth consistency.
Chef's Note: If you don't like pulp in your juice and would like it to be more clear, you can strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer. I prefer it with the pulp and so do my kids.

Step 4: Serve. Pour into glasses over ice and serve!

Does strawberry juice stain? Unfortunately, yes. Whether it is from the cut-up fruit or the finished drink, strawberry stains are difficult to wash off, especially when they don't react well to soap. Here are some steps to wash out stubborn strawberry stains:
- First, blot (don't rub) the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel immediately.
- Next, rinse any excess off with cool water (hot water can set some stains, so stick to cool water).
- Mix 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and ⅔ cup of rubbing alcohol in a bowl.
- Dip a cloth into the mixture and blot the stain until it is lifted.
- Then throw it in the laundry using the hot water setting and detergent.

- Sweetness. Adjust the sugar to taste or skip it all together for best results. As long as your strawberries are in season and sweet, this should be easy to do.
