Supernatural: The CW Sets Fall Premiere & Series Finale Dates

It’s going to be a light fall for network TV, but it’s not all reruns and shows we don’t really care about. Supernatural will be back with its final episodes ever. We’ve known for a bit that The CW was planning on diving back into production on Supernatural in time for a fall premiere, but it wasn’t clear when exactly we would see new episodes. Now, we know. According to Deadline, Supernatural Season 15 will continue on Thursday, October 8th at 8pm ET with its fall premiere on The CW.

We also know when, if everything goes according to plan, the final new Supernatural episode ever (or at least until the inevitable reboot) will air. Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 19th. The CW will broadcast a finale special titled “Supernatural: The Long Road Home” at 8pm ET, followed by the series finale at 9pm ET. Seriously… the end of an era.

Of course, these dates are dependent on everything going according to plan when it comes to the return to production. Production is slated to start back up on Tuesday in Vancouver.

Past new episodes of Supernatural, The CW’s fall schedule is looking slim. We’ll be getting CW-specific premieres of Swamp Thing and Devils, the former of which originally ran on DC Universe and the latter of which is an Italian-French co-production that sounds pretty cool. (It is a financial thriller drama.) Additionally, Pandora and The Outpost will have fall premieres for their new seasons.
