Nintendo is re-releasing both the NES Mini and SNES Mini with both hitting stores on June 29, 2018.

You can pre-order the NES Mini and SNES Mini now from a variety of retailers, though most are putting a one-per-customer restriction in place.

Both mini consoles were originally released in such small numbers that hungry consumers crashed websites trying to get their hands on one. The price of these mini consoles was also sent sky high at the time of release.

Thankfully, Nintendo has seen fit to re-release them. The NES Mini costs $99.95 AUD and the SNES Mini costs $119.95 AUD.

Nintendo’s mini versions of its classic consoles include a range of great games that can now be played via HDMI and with replica controllers.

The classic NES is back in a familiar-yet-new form as a mini replica of Nintendo’s original home console. Plugging directly into a high-definition TV using the included HDMI cable.

Nintendo’s follow-up console to the legendary Nintendo Entertainment System, returns in a new petite form as the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

Launched in Australia and New Zealand in 1992, the Super Nintendo introduced what many consider some of the greatest video games of all time.

The NES Mini includes 30 pre-installed games and the SNES Mini includes 21. Neither mini console comes with a power adaptor, but you can use any USB power adaptor.

You can pre-order the NES Mini and SNES Mini now at EB Games and JB Hi-Fi.
