TORONTO — Actor Tim Curry made a rare public appearance Sunday night — nearly three years after suffering a stroke.

The 67-year-old showed up for a Tony Awards viewing party in Los Angeles in a wheelchair.

“I’m doing well,” he told Los Angeles Magazine, which noted his speech has slowed slightly.

Curry said keeping his sense of humour is “absolutely vital.”
