Tim Curry will make a rare public appearance at a Rocky Horror Picture Show fundraising event eight years after suffering a stroke.
The British actor, who originated the role of Dr Frank-N-Furter on stage and reprised it in the classic 1975 film, will appear during a livestream reading of the original Rocky Horror script.
The event will take place in aid of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, with proceeds going to the Biden/Harris presidential campaign.
“Rocky Horror has been changing lives for decades, and now, with this reunion on Halloween Night to supercharge Wisconsin Democrats in the final stretch, it’s going to change the world again,” said party chairman Ben Wikler. “In the final sprint of this election, we don’t need a time warp.”
Also taking part in the star-studded reading will be original Rocky Horror actors Barry Bostwick and Nell Campbell, along with Jason Alexander, Seth Green, Rachel Bloom, Josh Gad, Taylor Schilling, Rosario Dawson and David Arquette.

Curry has been slowly returning to public events in recent years following his stroke, which left him requiring the use of a wheelchair. He attended a premiere in 2016, as well as a comic convention in North Carolina in 2019.
In 2015, Curry said that his sense of humour had assisted in his recovery.
“It’s not tough to maintain,” he said. “It is just part of my DNA.”
He also told ABC News that he looked back on his Frank-N-Furter role with “a sort of bemused tolerance”, adding: “It’s neither a blessing nor a curse. I was lucky to get it.”
The Rocky Horror Show Livestream will be held on 31 October. More information can be found here.
