Update On Blackboard Issues–What To Do

ITS News & Announcements2020-03-282020-03-28 0 Share FacebookTwitterlinkedinPinterestGoogle+RedditMixTumblr

ITS has identified that the Blackboard issue is affecting multiple browsers and platforms. Students, faculty and staff are finding that once logged into Blackboard, modules on the “My Institution” page begin to auto refresh every few seconds. The workaround is using Firefox (Mac and Windows) or alternatively, Internet Explorer or Edge. If you need to participate in a Blackboard Collaborate session, we recommend using Firefox as you may not be able to join, or hear audio once joined otherwise. We have also not seen any issues using the mobile app.

To find your course list and enter a course, click on the “Courses” tab in the upper right section of Blackboard. The Courses tab is located to the right of the “My Institution” landing page.

We have submitted a support request with Blackboard and will let you know when we have a resolution.
