‘Vampire Diaries’: Stefan & Caroline Kiss

The fans are absolutely going crazy over this — we knew it would take time for it to happen, but with Caroline going through such a heartbreaking time, Stefan is doing anything he can to be there for her. And now, their friendship is finally transforming into more.

In the new extended trailer of Stay, the Feb. 12 episode, we’re forced to say goodbye to Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), who’s off to art school. Unfortunately, that storyline has to get put on the back burner for now because of Stefan and Caroline. The sexual tension between these two has been going on forever and in this new clip, we see that it finally comes into focus.

Steroline’s Journey Continues

There’s romantic music; there’s hand holding; and yes, there’s that first kiss. We’re so happy about this, since the EPs have done quite the amazing job of building up their chemistry.

Caroline literally admitted to Stefan her feelings in episode three of this season — let it happen already!

“In a weird way, his main focus is Caroline,” Paul told our sister site, TVLine. “That’s sort of been his M.O. lately. She’s sort of a huge part of his life now as a friend. Stefan and Elena were so inseparable, bonded, etc., and Caroline and Stefan are now sort of the duo. Everything he does revolves around Caroline at this point.”
