I cant even fathom the implementation of your gun jamming randomly in this game... ive had it happen 3 times already when i have the jump on someone only top be turned on and killed instantly. Laso have yet to see a scav have it happen to them, very much leading me to wonder if scavs can even have it happen to them

have not played that much, currently lvl 14, have used the guns with high dur since the wipe and have not seen a single malfunction till now.

just use good and clean guns, like you would do it in real

I fully 100% agree, there is 0 reason why i should have a gun that is at 90-100% Durability that jams on me, its happened to me multiple times so far. This is something that very much needs some tweaking because its so random it just got me killed in a raid aswell

I was playing a round on Woods yesterday saw someone heavily kitted and fired one round from M700 badly injured them second round jammed and he got away... sometimes I wonder if they shouldn't just call the game Escape from RNGESUS because it seems a lot of this games feature depend heavily on RNG Good spawn, drops, gun jamming the list can go on.

I myself died on woods to a jam before the thing is no one is prepared for that and it can be truly incredibly frustrating having a jam during a firefight because it can and will get you killed.

I don't know if this feature will ever be good but they want realism I hope they stop at some point to remember that it is a game not reality.

Weapon Malfunction is buggy as hell... i got killed 3times cause to this malfunktion on a complete new wepon buyd from peackeeper. Just deactivate this system until it works correct!

How realisitrc is it? Brand new M4A1 have a malfuntcion with the second magazin. 3times happens now.

Looks like its reversed. Higher quality more jams ive ran scav poo at well below half durability and no jams.

For me it's the other way around lower quality weapons jam more frequently.

it's a dumbass mechanic in an alpha state.. this is by no means a beta release mechanic nor game. this is all alpha state.. prove me wrong

I’ve played in 75 raids total and fired 2,000 rounds and have yet to have one malfunction.. How’s that even possible? Lol

That aside, I can’t say I’m going to be a huge fan of any mechanic that adds rng to the game. I do like the full auto/AP ammo nerf jams cause though.

Not a particularly good addition if it becomes more common to get malfuctions the rng will degrade the gameplay as im sure it already has for many people.

My mate did three brand-new PP-19s, all of them jammed in first mag dump after ~10-15 shots and got him killed twice. I've had a few jams on full durability weapons too. I understand the logic of discouraging W-pushes into the face of the enemy and bullying them back to lobby, but this happens even on raids after repairing the weapon to full. This doesn't feel right.

Isn't it fun losing because of bad luck.

100/100 durability gun with the best ammo and still jamming.

The concept is so beyond illogical it is stupid.

Why would you put in a mechanic in a game where you can lose simply due to bad luck regardless of your skill.

Gun jamming NEEDS to be removed.

Nothing worse than using a brand new vendor gun with vendor mag and vendor ammo only for it to jam after the very first round getting you killed.

it's a mechanic the game does not need and that adds nothing at all.

Malfunctions need to be reworked or tweaked correctly.

Died today two out of three raids because of jammed weapons.

Brand new AKM with PS ammo jammed three times in one gunfight.
AK-101 with 99.something durability, repaired before entering the raid -> first figth got a jam and died.

Plz BSG deactivate the feature or fix it asap. Does not make any sense at the actual state and just frustrates players because of dumb deaths because of a random jam on a new or well maintained weapon.

Im a bit late, but a new gun jamming is actually realistic. Brand new guns usually have a break in period, they'll tend to have some kind of malfunction in the first 200 rounds or so, and then theyll work as intented. That being said, I don't think thats why new guns are jamming in the game, it's probably badly implemented or bugged. I've just bought the game and it has yet to happen to me, idk it its fixed already.

Everything in my extensive real life training and owning/shooting countless new firearms tells me this is a falsehood. In this game, do you think it can differentiate between a gun with 100 durability and 97 durability in terms of cleanliness and likelihood of jamming? I've put a lot of ammo down range coming from a gun that is wet, dirty, muddy, moderately busted, and haven't had the volume of jams that this game is generating.

All that said, i've found that if i do a "check malfunction" after each reload, the it appears to be limited the number of malfunctions. I'm confident that they will improve upon this system, so we'll just have to deal with another inept rollout until they improve it.
