What's Open And Closed Easter Weekend In Toronto And GTA

The first long weekend of the spring is upon us and though the mild weather isn’t expected to stick around there will be plenty to do around the city.

Here is a list of what will be open and closed over Easter weekend in Toronto and the GTA:

ATTRACTIONS

• Casa Loma will be open both Good Friday April 15th and Easter Monday April 18th from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for General Admission touring.
• Ripley’s Aquarium will be operating on its regular schedule from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout the long weekend

GROCERY STORES

• Most grocery stores will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Some will be on holiday hours for Easter Monday, best to check individual store locations.

MALLS

• CF Eaton Centre: Open Friday, 11 am to 6 pm; Saturday, 10 am to 9 pm; Sunday, 11 am to 6 pm.
• Yorkdale Mall: Closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday; Open Saturday 10 am to 8 pm.
• CF Sherway Gardens: Closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday; Open Saturday, 10 am to 9 pm
• CF Fairview Mall: Closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday; Open Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm
• CF Markville: Open Friday, 11 am to 6 pm; Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm; Closed Easter Sunday
• Scarborough Town Centre: Closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday; Open Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm
• Bayview Village: Closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday; Open Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm
• Square One Shopping Centre: Closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday; Open Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm
• Vaughan Mills: Closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday; Open Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm
• Pacific Mall: Open from 11 am to 8 pm all weekend

BEER / LCBO

• Both the Beer Store and LCBO will be closed on April 15th and April 17th for Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
• All LCBO locations will reopen for regular hours on April 16 while select LCBO stores will be operating under reduced hours on Easter Monday (check specific locations).

OTHER

• Government offices will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday.
• There will be no mail delivery on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
• Toronto Public Library branches will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
