Wondering what you ladies have eaten AFTER the test? I want to satisfy my hunger but don’t want to overload my glucose even more for the day. I need today to study and can’t afford to feel like crap all day.Original poster's comments (3)go to original poster's comments pagereplied with hug7Comment Advertisement | page continues below

  • mMmann1030 Posted 12-06-17My doctor told me right after my test to go get a good meal so my sugar doesn't drop. I went out and got a burger!
  • member avatarmKhalilA Posted 12-06-17Just about anything. I would avoid high sugar things like Starbucks and donuts, but any real food should be ok. I ate a nature valley fruit and nut bar. Only because i realized oh yeah i should eat something and i promised my mom. I felt totally fine after my test and almost forgot to eat it. I'm hoping they have my results today

  • member avatarlpaz Posted 12-06-17I'm at my one hour test too and I'm bored out of my mind. Lol I don't know what I want to eat though 🤔

I had my glucose test the day before Thanksgiving, so ended up at the grocery store afterwards to get some last minute things for the holiday. Here is what I ate when I got home...

    1. A big bowl of cereal2. A cup of coffee3. Pizza (for lunch)4. Ice cream cone (after the pizza)

I clearly LEANED IN hard, haha! I should also note that I got my results a few days later and it was an 88.
