I’ve always been a coffee person, having at least one cup a day, sometimes two. Since about 6 weeks, currently 10 weeks, I’ve been repulsed by coffee. Has this happened to any mommas? And does it go away? I’m a teacher and I desperately need that extra boost but also don’t want to gag while drinking coffee. Same thing happened to me! I had awful morning sickness all the time in 1st trimester and my appetite went down, taste buds changed, and sense of smell heightened. A mix of all that meant no cravings for coffee as per usual. I tended to enjoy light drinks like tea and juices. After 2nd trimester started, everything got better and I started craving it again :) we stocked up on decaf so I could enjoy it more-so, and not worry about too much caffeine at once.
