Vizio manufactures its televisions in Taiwan or China, depending on the size of the televisions. The majority of Vizio televisions are manufactured in Taiwan by a company named Amtran Technology, which supplies Vizio with up to 80 percent of its products.

Vizio is an American company based in Irvine, California that markets and sells televisions. However, it has no manufacturing facilities in the North America. Taiwan-based Foxconn Electronics manufactures all of Vizio’s 60-inch and larger televisions. A company in China named TPV Technology manufactures smaller Vizio televisions. Taiwan-based AmTran, which owns 24 percent of Vizio, manufactures most other Vizio televisions.
