Who is Derrick Jaxn’s ex-wife Da’Naia Jackson?

Da’Naia La’ Trice Jackson used to be married to relationship expert, Derrick Jaxn.

She used to be a stay-at-home mother and was often seen supporting her ex-husband through his entrepreneurial ventures.

Jackson is a devout Christian and often highlights her beliefs on social media. She frequently shares scripture verses and Biblical advice with her over 92k followers on Instagram.

Since Jackson’s separation from Jaxn, she founded her own faith-based fashion line called: Kingdom.Children.Essentials.

When did Derrick Jaxn and Da’Naia Jackson get divorced?

Jaxn got engaged to Jackson in November 2016.

Jackson went through drastic weight loss surgery in 2017, losing around 75 pounds before her wedding day.

The pair tied the knot two years later in Georgia on January 2018.

In December 2022, Jaxn took to Instagram to announce that the couple had decided to end things after four years of marriage.

“Earlier this year after much prayer, counseling, and deep consideration, we decided to go our separate ways and filed for divorce. Making the decision to file was one of the hardest decisions of my life, but I’ve found peace knowing that our mission of raising healthy children, starting with healthy and whole parents is still being accomplished.

“From falling in love as just teenagers, to becoming spouses and now co-parents, I’m grateful for the years we’ve spent together and wouldn’t trade them for anything. I was blessed to have such an amazing person in my life and will forever be thankful for all she’s meant to our family.”

Did Derrick Jaxn cheat on Da’Naia Jackson?

Candice De Medeiros exposed her affair with Jaxn during an interview with a popular vlogger, Tasha K, according to Sister2Sister.

Jaxn, however, said he was separated from his wife when he met the Ghanaian, Dominican and Portuguese influencer.

“The mistress provided receipts of her meetups with the philanderer, including a cozy shot taken from the bed he shared with his wife in their Atlanta home,” wrote Black Enterprise.

De Medeiros said Jaxn had sent her over $1,000 during their short affair.

Derrick admitted the infidelity in a YouTube video seated next to his now ex-wife.

“I want to be clear im not talking about just casually kicking it, maybe a lunch or something like that. I’m talking about as serious as sex, sexual flirtation, and meeting up and those type of things,” he said.

Jaxn said he felt the need to share the information with his followers publicly after he had already had the conversation privately with Jackson.

“It’s important that I let you know I don’t stand by those actions, ” Jaxn said.

“I don’t want to encourage anybody to do that. Secondly, I know I can’t build a platform preaching certain things, preaching against certain things, and then in my real life live contrary to that.”

During the video, Jaxn also said that he deserves to be accountable for his actions.
