Ladd Drummond, Ree Drummond’s husband, was born to parents Nan and Chuck Drummond. He grew up with his brothers Tim and Todd Drummond. Sadly, Ladd lost his eldest brother, Todd, in a car crash.

In Osage County, Oklahoma, Ladd is a fourth-generation Drummond Ranch rancher. Ronald Thacker Drummond, his great-grandfather, emigrated from Scotland and was a successful businessman of his time. However, his main investments were in diamonds in South Africa. 

Ladd spent his childhood in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, where he attended ‘Pawhuska High School.’ He went to ‘Arizona State University later.
