GUM CHEWING IS AGAINST THE RULES AT GREENBRIER MIDDLE SCHOOL. The reason I am copying this paragraph is because I was chewing gum in class. Gum chewing is not allowed in school for the following reasons: 1. Gum is very unsightly on concrete sidewalks and other areas. Those ugly black dots on our lovely sidewalks are the result of students throwing gum on them. Those spots cannot be removed after they have set. 2. Gum ruins people’s clothing. If you have ever sat in gum, you know you do not want to have that experience again. 3. Some rude persons actually put chewed gum under tables and desks. This is certainly inexcusable. 4. Also, gum could very easily destroy very expensive technology that we have the privilege to use at our school.
