City Spring Hope State NC Will seats, bumpers and soft one piece doors from a CJ7 fit a CJ5? I have these parts for sale and I know a guy who will be building a CJ5 soon and he needs them. I need to know if they will fit without modification. I haven't seen his project but it sounds like he bought a body on a rolling chasis. No seats, bumpers, top, engine or transmission.

City Grand Rapids State MI I believe the seats and bumpers should fit. However, the doors will not fit do to different size door openings. Nate

City Atlanta State GA Engine - Yes Transmission - Yes.. Not the rear drive shaft... possibly the front (depends on what trans was in each originally Seats - Yes Bumpers - Yes Top - No Doors - No Mechanically, the 5 and 7 are identical. The only difference is the rear driveshaft... well, and lengths of rear brake lines, wiring, fuel lines, etc. The top, doors, rollbar, carpet, etc. will not swap, the front and rear seats will though. The only difference (assuming same year) in a 5 and 7 was the length.

What year CJ-5, Robert? Anything '76+ should be compatible, but if it's a '75 or older CJ-5, it'll depend on the item(s). Craig

City Spring Hope State NC Not sure what year his 5 is. He did some landscaping for me last week, but I haven't heard from him since. He hasn't sent me a bill yet either.
