• What is Zip Pay?

  Zip Pay is a safe, simple, and convenient omni channel payment option, powered by ASX-listed company zipMoney (ASX: ZML), that lets your customers shop online or instore and pay later for their purchases – with no credit card and no interest.

  Zip Pay issues customers with a reusable shopping account that allows them to pay for their purchases over time in easy monthly instalments. Offering increased payment flexibility to your customers helps to convert browsers to shoppers, increases average order values and the number of items per order.

  It’s quick and simple and is specifically designed to help merchants maximise optimise their conversion funnel.

• What is the relationship between Quest Payment Systems and Zip Pay?

  Quest Payment Systems, an established player in the Australian payments landscape, specialises in providing cutting-edge payment technology for merchants of all types.

  Quest and Zip Pay (part of zipMoney ASX:ZML) have partnered to ensure Zip Pay is available as a form of payment to all Quest merchants in retail, hospitality and services in Australia.

  To accept Zip Pay you’ll need to sign up for a merchant facility with zipMoney - Quest can help introduce you to zipMoney and step you through this process. Once you have signed up for Zip Pay, Quest will then help configure you payment terminal to accept Zip Pay.

• Why accept Zip Pay?

  Your customers can forget about filling out tons of payment information and credit card numbers. With Zip Pay, checkout couldn’t be easier. Every time customers shop, they simply sign in to their Digital Wallet and confirm their purchase – it’s that simple!

  Zip Pay customers will also never have to pay for their purchases immediately – instead, they can pay for all of their purchases at the end of the month, or take more time and pay down the balance with easy monthly payments. Your customers will only ever pay one monthly service fee of $6/mth for any month they have an outstanding balance – regardless of how many purchases they make. No interest or no other hidden fees!

• How easy is it to set up?

  Once Zip Pay have approved your application, Quest will then arrange to upgrade or ship your new payment terminal . Zip Pay will directly provide you with all the in-store materials you need to make Zip Pay a success in your store!

• How can I make sure customer's know I accept Zip Pay?

  Once your application has been approved, Zip Pay will send out a set of materials to display in your store:

  • Zip Pay ‘accepted here’ sticker for the front of your store/s

  • Zip Pay ‘accepted here’ POS stand to sit next to your registers/s

  It is important to display these prominently, as Zip Pay users are more likely to spend more if they know that Zip Pay is accepted from the time they enter your store.

• How do I provide a receipt?

  Zip Pay receipts are just like normal EFTPOS receipts and are printed out along with your POS receipt.

• Are Zip Pay transactions secure?

  Zip Pay transactions are extremely secure. Every transaction is authorised online to the Zip Pay host and users provide a one-use Zip Pay Store Code which is only valid for 5 minutes.

  Zip Pay stand behind their security - once a transaction is authorised by Zip Pay, they guarantee settlement of funds i.e. Zip Pay assume all credit and fraud risk. Merchants are never responsible for collecting any consumer repayments or defaults.

• How do I get paid?

  Zip Pay settle all transactions with merchants same-day if the order was completed prior to 4pm AEST Monday to Friday. All transactions after the cut off time will be paid the next business day. The payment is made net of the agreed merchant service fee. Once a transaction is authorised by Zip Pay, they guarantee settlement of funds i.e. Zip Pay assume all credit and fraud risk. Merchants are never responsible for collecting any consumer repayments or defaults. We collect repayments back from the customer over time.

• How much does it cost?

  You must sign up for a Zip Pay merchant facility directly with zipMoney (Quest can help introduce you – enquire below). Zip Pay will charge you one small flat fee (%) per transaction, so you only pay when you sell. There are no setup fees, no monthly charges, no commitments and no surprises. The merchant service fee varies depending on trading volume.

  For your customers, at the end of every billing month they can choose to pay off their balance in full, or simply make a payment that suits their budget (minimum repayment of at least $40 per month required). A $6 monthly service fee will be added to the consumer’s account for any month there is an outstanding balance. No balance, no fees!

• How can I view my transaction history?

  You can view your Zip Pay transactions using your existing EftposPlus or Cloud EFTPOS reporting. These transactions will be displayed with a card type of ‘Zip Pay’ and can be filtered and totalled accordingly.

  Additionally, Zip Pay offer their own reporting tools which will be made available upon successful merchant application.
