1996 Volkswagen Jetta Distributor Cap Wiring Order YBRGRIP

Hi, I have a 1996 Jetta TREK, a friend of my brothers replaced the distributor cap and messed up the wiring on the cap. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how the wires are suppose to be on the cap so it runs right. It starts but backfires and I have to turn the distributor to start it up and it wont bolt down.
