Seriously. #4 · Oct 4, 2010 (Edited) the way you are describing it sounds like your going to be running with no cutoffs... pictures? Edit: nvm thats what eight thirty just said #5 · Oct 4, 2010 hello fellow e30 friend :) Names Franklyn #6 · Oct 4, 2010 Hi there, names Brent. #7 · Oct 4, 2010 e30 fourm dead? #13 · Oct 4, 2010 at 4am yep 0 Reply #8 · Oct 4, 2010 OP, 1) If your housing is stock, like Brent and Franklyn mentioned above, you will be blinding oncoming drivers. 2) If you insist on this, then you need 9005 HID bulbs. There is no other way. You can get them cheap from DDMtuning.com. IIRC $15 for the bulbs. Good Luck, Ed. #9 · Oct 4, 2010 the housing is not stock. i bought it off craigslist and the housing only allows H1 bulbs. remind you these are aftermarket projector headlights for the low beams which already have an H1 HID kit already installed. the problem with my high beams is that i only have 9005 socket (coming from my car) but the space for an H1 bulb (in the housing). 0 Reply #10 · Oct 4, 2010 My bad, I completely misread that. You should just order H1 bulbs. You can get any bulb from DDM tuning for the same price IIRC. #11 · Oct 4, 2010 i have an H1 bulb, how am i suppose to plug in an H1 bulb into a 9005 socket coming from my car. thats the problem im having. is there an adapter i can buy? i saw the one on ddms website, but that isnt it. 0 Reply #12 · Oct 4, 2010 Then just get the $30 HID kit from DDMtuning, problem solved, lights improved.
