B/W sounds really bad in my opinion. Maybe HeartGold is better. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack I'm leaving the forum, if anyone cared. You can find me on OC or FFR.

If you're looking for more to do ingame, then HG or SS. If you want to go into Competitive Battling, then go with Black or White. However, B/W has a rather good storyline, while HGSS is very generic for a Pokemon Game. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack The funny thing is, by the time you finish reading this, you will have wasted about four seconds of your life...

I prefer HG over B/W because B/W didn't really add anything new(aside from the new battles)and HG actually has a reason(for not having many new things)in that it's a remake of a game that was made in 1999. Last edited by Bluebomber54: Nov 9, 2011 Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

I'd wait for Grey. Black/White are great, but there's not much to do after you complete the main plotline. I'm sure Grey will fix that. Honestly, having completed both games, I highly recommend B/W. HG/SS offers great game play, but I had already played Silver and Gold through twice. B/W offers many new and interesting Pokemon. If you aren't one of those Original Pokemon Only people, I recommend B/W much better end game. Plus, WiFi battles are better here(imo). I would get both if I were you.

Grey is still a myth, I believe. Also, from a marketing point of view, they would hop right onto the next gen to make a game for the 3DS that actually motivates people to buy the 3DS. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

There has been a third installment for every single generation thus far, and Kyurem seems to make it obvious. A third installment could be released on 3DS, too. But yes, I suppose it is technically a myth. My friend said Unova Pokemon sucks, and I agree with him to an extent. Not all of them suck, but couldn't Nintendo think of something else other than an animated heap of trash? Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

i italicized the obvious. thats every generation in a nutshell. i mean, a rock with arms? a bump in the ground that triples upon evolution? a sludge pile that evolves into a bigger sludge pile? class a innovation right there! at any rate, HG/SS suffered from game play problems, primarily in that the wild pokemon were under leveled as hell, so grinding was ridiculous and killed any potential fun. although the pokes following you and the pokeathon were good. i still prefer Black/White. I find that there are very few Unova Pokemon that I strongly dislike. There aren't too many that stand out like crazy (though I love Galvantula to DEATH). HeartGold and SoulSilver were too easy for my tastes, though it was nice to see the older generations again, and having them follow behind the player is super cool. The story in Black and White is really good. It's the first time I've been wow'd by the narrative in a Pokemon game. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack Minecraft is best craft.

I recommend Black/White. White:More Pokemon, you fight Iris, you capture Zekrom, you can get Thundorus, you can visit White Forest. Black:Less Pokemon, you fight Drayden, you capture Reshiram, you can get Tornadus, you can visit Black City. If you're patient I recommend White, but if you're not patient I recommend Black. Why does patience matter? The decision should be based on the available Pokemon, IMO. Thundurus is obviously better than Tornadus, but which cover Pokemon do you prefer? Then there's the "normal" Pokemon. Whimsicott or Reuninclus? I think they did a good job balancing them out. I suppose your friend is one of those people spamming, " Only 150 original pokemon count, rest of them suck". Each generation has bad ones and good ones. While yes, First generation is many people's favorite generation, attempt to have an open mind when looking at other generations. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack

No way, HG/SS is so SLOW. I don't care if there are two regions and all the "good" Pokemon. Rollback Post to Revision RollBack
