Jonathan Việt Lưu (越刘) is a Vietnamese person with a Hebrew first name (יוֹנָתָן). The name was bestowed by his Catholic parents who left Vietnam as a result of war in Vietnam. Perhaps it is because of his confusing namesake that Jonathan became an itinerant, transversing global cities in search of meaning.

Jonathan studied philosophy at Texas A&M University where he presented papers at peer-reviewed venues such as the World Philosophy Forum in Athens, the Association of Cultural Studies in Paris, the Philosophy Born of Struggle Conference in College Station, and the Inter/national Radical Philosophy Association Conference in Eugene. He also holds experience working in the private, public, and non-profit sectors as a business development specialist, a policy analyst, and a program coordinator/manager. But more importantly, he remains a thinker committed to posing questions, structuring arguments, and testing solutions.

Feel free to e-mail Jonathan at [email protected] for any inquiries.
