Dec 8, 2010 11,897 74 91 Get B75. Preferably Gigabyte unless it's significantly more expensive. H61 doesn't support i3-3225 without a BIOS update. I don't know if the BIOS is up-to-date from the factory. H61 doesn't support USB 3.0 and SATA 6gb/s either. What graphics card are you getting? W

Nov 20, 2012 9 0 0 Yep it will be.. but I'm tight on budget.. already increased with Case+PSU considering stablility + good performance.. Now.. it cant be increased now.. I'll update it in new future and I'm light gamer.. happy to get gaming at medium-low resolution.. My game choices are also differents so.. it will be good for me for 1-1.5 years now.. Fifa, Pes, F1, MotoGP, COD, Wolverine, NFS etc.. W

Nov 20, 2012 9 0 0 Should i need to install any other cooling device.. I'm not going to overclock anything so.. it is for pure performance only.. I've Cooler Master Elite 430 Black cabinet with super cool ambient settings.. I'm going to install 2-3 fans for air ventilation.. so it will super cool... look at cabinet @ http://www.coolermaster.in/product.php?product_id=6654 lehtv

Dec 8, 2010 11,897 74 91 Elite 430 has only one 120mm intake fan and no other fans. Your components are very low power though, there's nothing to worry about there. If you want, get an additional 120mm fan an install it in the rear exhaust slot. Something cheap but decent like Arctic Cooling F12. Regarding your CPU choice, I think the i3 is fine. It's pretty fast while the the 6670 is a rather slow graphics card, this means you can upgrade your graphics without having to worry about CPU bottlenecking. Last edited: Nov 21, 2012 R

I hear ya. I just got a new computer like a month ago. INTEL i3 2100 3.1GHZ INTEL DH67BLB3, LGA1155, Intelfi H67 I was considering upgrading my i3 2100 to an Ivy 3450 or 3550 However, my H67 mobo might pose a problem due to lack of features. Maybe I should get a B75 or Z77 board. Not sure what would make more sense right now. W

Feb 17, 2000 4,477 12 81 If your planning on using the 6670. Drop the I3 3225 down to the 3220 instead. The added expense of the HD4000 IGPU is not needed. W

Nov 20, 2012 9 0 0 Best thing for i3-3225 is it can be used as iGPU as well. I already have HD 6670.. so I'll use it now but if IGPU will perform better then I might sell my graphic card to get other parts.. S

perform better for what? video transcoding? for gaming the 6670 is much better than the HD 4000. it's a waste of money for that... as for B75 vs H61, there is no difference for gaming, but the B75 is so cheap and add USB 3.0 and Sata III support so it's probably a better choice, also H61 boards can be older, and without ivy bridge support (requiring a bios update) the 3225 you want costs $ 145 on newegg... honestly, for that money I would look for a used i5 sandy bridge. I3-3225 is available in India @ 120$ only.. I'm not fond of used product.. yep.. HD6670 is better than 4000 but I'm not hardcore gamer even HD 6670 is high end product for me.. I have to be little bit extra cautious about its heat.. and that's why I3-3225 is good option for me..it'll play all my games at my required settings..
