Dec 9, 2015 6 0 4,510 Hello guys, I am new here. I just recently created this account because I need an urgent answer. Currently I am using DH61WW which is a really terrible motherboard. I know it was a stupid decision to buy this motherboard, but back in 2012 I knew nothing about Motherboards or the K series of the intel CPU. I thought anything would be fine, now years later I regret buying it big time. Only two slots of ram with 2GB DDR3 each and 4GB is barely enough for any games these days and recently I bought a Inno3D GTX 960 which is quite a huge card and because of that 2 Sata slots went right beneath the GPU which makes it unusable. -So, that's the story. I am not sure how many Indians are around here because I have maximum 6000rs budget and the worst part is that almost all of the motherboards for 2nd generation are out of stock, I asked the local stores too. They only have the crappy H61 motherboards. For now, I got my eyes on gigabyte ga-b75m-d3h from Amazon.in for 6K and asrock h67m-ge for just 4k from ebay.in and it has 2 sweet 6.0 Sata slots compare to Gigabyte which has only one and How are asrock motherboards for a long term usage? Solution I think intel motherboards are fine. Just that they did not actively pursue the market and create a situation that will put them at odd with their third party partner. Personally i like gigabyte mobo. And i ask you to get mobo with Z77/Z68 chipset because that will let you overcloked that 2500K. Sort by date Sort by votes renz496

Dec 9, 2015 6 0 4,510 renz496 : Can't find board with Z77 or Z68 chipset? I did mention that I can't spend more than 6K. Although, there is Gigabyte Z77 but that is for 11K and there is no Z68. So far these two are my only options. Upvote 0 Downvote I

Hence, I need guidance, I want something that should last for at least 4-5 years without problems. Upvote 0 Downvote renz496

Dec 23, 2013 341 0 18,860 with a Z77/Z68 chipset you will be doing yourself a favor, since it can overclock your 2500k cpu and make the most of it few more years. the z series also have better support for drivers than H67/B75 and you get better value for the money you're gonna spend.
