Dialing back the depth control helps a bit, but then you’re left with a weird hollow tone. I’m not knocking it, it’s just more chorus than I prefer. I highly recommend trying before you buy. If the level of chorus works for you that’s great. I’ll just continue using my CH-1, which everyone seems to hate. I happen to like it a lot. The blend and EQ controls allow me to dial in a very subtle, warm swirl that you’d really only notice if I turned it off.artdecade

Most guitarists I know end up getting one and selling the ce2 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Joined Dec 29, 2006 Posts 6,028 Location Buffalo, NY I’m a longtime CE-2 user and got excited when the Waza version came out. I bought one, and didn’t really like it. It was either too much or not enough. I didn’t feel it was worth the big bucks it cost, when the old CE-2 I already had did the job just fine. Johnny Marr probably used chorus a lot in the old days, but these days he uses the Detune effect in his GT-1000. Chorus-like, but different. Andy Summers’ original Pete Cornish pedalboard had an Electric Mistress flanger and no chorus. By the time of Synchronicity, I believe he was using a rack-mount Dimension D, and I’ve also seen a photo of his Cornish board, with a blue Boss pedal added on, just loose on the floor. But that early “Walking On The Moon” clang was the flanger. I use a BF-2 with the Manual control turned all the way down to get that sound. It’s my “big” chorus and the CE-3 is my “little” chorus. I like chorus. But the W didn't do much for me.- 1
