Our Verdict:

Attractive and economical, the HP Officejet 3830 All-in-One allows users to easily print using their smart phones and tablets. It comes with standard networking connectivity. The maximum monthly duty cycle is 1000 sheets. The trouble with the HP Officejet 3830 All-in-One is it has a limited paper-handling capacity.

Design

This model comes in sleek black and features a mono touch display on its front. A flatbed scanner with a 35-sheet automatic document feeder is on top. At the bottom of the unit is a 60-sheet input tray. The HP Officejet 3830 All-in-One uses 2 cartridges: black and tri-coloured. This unit is installed with 512MB DDR and 128M flash memory and has a 180MHz processor.

Advantages

Users can expect brilliant photos and images from the HP Officejet 3830 All-in-One as it offers a maximum colour resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. Documents will yield sharp texts as this unit offers a maximum monochrome resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. This compact unit can print, copy, scan, and even fax. Not only does it support mobile printing, it also offers cloud links.

Disadvantages

The control panel of the HP Officejet 3830 All-in-One could be a bit bigger. Its print speed is a bit sluggish at 6ppm for colour and 8.5ppm for black on ISO mode. Even though the HP Officejet 3830 All-in-One comes with an automatic document feeder, its main paper tray has a limited capacity.
