The HP OfficeJet 3830 all-in-one is an affordable, easy to use, inkjet printer small enough to fit on any desktop, but powerful enough to provide lab quality photo reproduction and professional style document creation. The HP 3830 also comes with a range of media handling facilities and WiFi connectivity, which allows easy printing from laptop, desktop and mobile devices no matter where they are in the home or office.

For those who are looking to reduce print costs, the HP 3830 can be fitted with optional HP XL ink cartridges which offer 2.5x the capacity of standard cartridges. These high capacity cartridges can print up to 480 black and 330 colour pages before replacement, providing running costs similar to the most economical laserjet printers.

Use original HP ink to maintain image quality and reliability

To get the best lab quality photo reproduction out of your HP 3830, you should only use original HP ink cartridges. These are formulated using state of the art dye based inks which enable vibrant colour reproduction and decreased colour fastness compared to pigment based inks. Recent tests showed that photos printed with HP inks last more than 50 times longer than those printed using private label inks.

Original HP ink is also formulated with cleaning agents that help to keep the printhead clean and free from corrosion. This helps prevent the printhead nozzles from becoming blocked, reducing the risk of blotches and splatters which are often caused by private label manufactured cartridges.

Original HP cartridges are also better for the environment, refilling cartridges isn’t as environmentally friendly as you think. Up to 27% of cartridges sent for refilling can’t be used due to damage, and 15% of those don’t get disposed of properly because many refill companies don’t have the necessary recycling processes in place.
