Introduction

Brass is a specific term that refers to a wide range of copper-zinc alloys having, good electrical and thermal conductivity, strength, hardness, wear- resistance, ductility, and corrosion-resistance.

Brasses are available in a wide range of colors such as yellow, red, silver and gold etc. These colored brasses are used by designers and architects to improve the inside and outside appearances of buildings.

UNS C26000 cartridge brass alloys in the yellow brass series have the highest ductility. These alloys are mostly cold formed and they can also be easily machined.

The datasheet given below provides an overview of UNS C26000 cartridge brass alloys.
