Just a slip-on. I like it, sounds good seems to run fine with it.. I thought abou that brand for my drz but I ran across a decent deal on a yosh slip-on for it. Maybe a full system later. I understand they are the dirt bike experts. :) #3 · Aug 17, 2006 I,ve never heard of them before, but looking around the internet I see they sponsor a few riders. #4 · Aug 17, 2006 I have their full P4R system on my KX250F. Fit and finish was as good or better than the Yosh on my DRZ, it did what they said it would do (more mid & top end without losing any low end), and it was less than $300 to my door (Ebay). Has a nice mellow tone and seems to actually be a bit quieter than stock, although I can't confirm it as I don't have a decibel meter. #5 · Aug 17, 2006 Thanks  Now do I want quiet and more power or loud and more power:headscrat My neibours would probably go for the quiet, but I like the big fourstroke sound. #6 · Aug 18, 2006 It's probably just a more mellow sound but not necessarily less decibels than stock on the KXF. As compared to a stock DRZ exhaust it would be considerably louder! #7 · Aug 18, 2006 I see, thanks. #8 · Aug 18, 2006 i heard they have a summo specific pipe SM-1 i belive I considered this pipe for my crf250 but i got a great deal on a white bros carbon full system i couldnt pass up #9 · Sep 5, 2006 bringin this one back. their shop "Charmicheal Honda Motorsports" is a few miles from my house. i had one of their pipes on my gixxer and i loved it. a lot of the local guys swear by them. #10 · Sep 6, 2006 They are a company in the outer skirts of Sacramento, CA, they are also a Honda Dealership, they are huge on Supermoto with a 53' trailer for all there bikes. Seem like they know there stuff. I'm in Sac and I love them #11 · Sep 7, 2006 I have it on my CRF, with an M4 on my DRZ. First, if you have the S or SM, you will need a headpipe to get performance. As for quiet, i believe that the guy who posted said that it went on his KXF250, which is an MX bike and is around 100dB stock. The pipe quality is very good, and well thought out. if they do headpipe, make sure you get it. (Larger diameter than stock SM) These pipes are NOT quiet! Though they do have an insert that gets them down to around 96dB, even then it is not quiet as in stock DRZ quiet...not even close. Just FYI #12 · Sep 7, 2006 For the SM they don't make the head pipe, just a slip on, I was wondering if aftermarket head pipes actually make much difference and if so why? #13 · Sep 8, 2006 Yes they make a noticeable difference due to the pipe diameter. The E model bikes of years past were known for making more power for a number of reasons...the primary reason being the carb (FCR). Pipe builders also noticed that the smaller diameter of the headpipes were a source of power loss for the S models (which is same as SM and the newer E models -due to green sticker). #14 · Sep 17, 2006 Thanks. I always wondered why aftermarket headpipes were better than stock, that explains it. #15 · Oct 16, 2006 brought back from the dead......i was doing some pipe research and found this at pipe city http://www.pipecity.com/Products/ProductDetails.cfm/Search/2040003SO/ProductID/65518 what do you guys think about this full system.......the price is really low could it be a type-o shaun h Insert Quotes Post Reply
