Anyone know best place to purchase CHM P4R EXHAUST. Decibels levels for X model exhaust?

Yup, they are good guys. I dont know if they will sell directly to a consumer though. If they dont call Tony at Carmichael Honda parts department, 916-944-1318.

The CHM exhaust on the 250 is great, i got one on my X, it runs and sounds great. As for sound, you get get below 96 dB with the quiet insert and even without it its not too loud. The CHM site is http://www.chmexhausts.com

I was tampering with buying one, but I wasnt impressed with what I heard about it. I can get one for $250, but is it worth it. Please dont just tell me its awesome cause you have one and its louder than stock. Honest answers are greatly appreciated!

The power increase is very good, i do not base anything on sound. Look at the dyno runs.. they say it all.

I have a CRF250x with a CHM System P-4R and it is great. I heard that it only gives you .8 more horses. I think that is B.S. I compared my CHM ststem to a modified stock pipe at my friends house and it feels like more then .8 hp.

i have dynoed the system and the .8 hp is only the peak gain it makes quite abit more in the mid and has more over rev and thats what you are feeling the pipe is a great pipe .
