In 1980, the first quartz watch issued to British Forces was made by CWC. The old logo was used for a couple of years and was changed to the oval logo in 1982. The early G10s were nicknamed Fatboy as the case was deeper than the current models due to earlier deeper movements. The last CWC G10 issued was around 2008 and is the same watch today, just as rugged, reliable, accurate and dependable as it has always been. (Super-Luminova is now used instead of Tritium)Supplied on a Cabot military grey 18mm with gloss silver buckles as standard.(Please note, the picture of the case back is for reference only; serial number and dates may vary)

M CWC British Military G10 Quartz WatchGreat watch, keeps great time.
M A great allrounder!I have bought this watch in September 2024. And it is on my wrist ever since. For me it is just the perfect watch, because:
1. Small and lightweight. I fits just perfect in my wrist. I sometimes forget it is there.
2. It keeps perfect time, mine looses only a second per half year.
3. It is a rugged watch, you can almost throw anything at it, it keeps ticking. And because it has a acrylic glass, you can buff out any scratch with polywatch.
4. Although it has fixed lugs, there is enough choice for different straps.
For me it is so perfect, i have bought another G10 as a spare. Just in case ..
A Great watch, great experience I bought a G10 some weeks ago because I was interested in mil style watches in general and field watches in particular. CWC´s management is great: very transparent, very quick. Delivery was really fast despite the fact that the watch had to cross the channel. Unfortunately, I had to pay customs which made the watch more expensive to me but it´s still worth it. The G10 is a comfortable wear, the NATO strap being nice and it spreads the aura of British Army tradition. My next field watch will be another CWC but Brexit wasn´t a great idea... (Sorry). It makes the watches much more expensive. Thank you and many greetings from Germany! Hope you will come back to EU! Alex
h simply the bestlove the heritage which is irreplaceable. perfect size, design, and color.
