The Cabot Watch Company G10.

Case back engraving is available for this watch, however we cannot accept returns of any items that have been personalised.

In 1980, the first quartz watch issued to British Forces was made by CWC. The old logo was used for a couple of years and was changed to the oval logo in 1982. The early G10s were nicknamed Fatboy as the case was deeper than the current models due to earlier deeper movements.The last CWC G10 issued was around 2008 and is the same watch today, just as rugged, reliable, accurate and dependable as it has always been. (Super-Luminova is now used instead of Tritium)Supplied on a Cabot military grey 18mm with gloss silver buckles as standard.(Please note, the picture of the case back is for reference only; serial number and dates may vary.)

• ETA F06.402 Swiss quartz movement
• Clear, precise, durable timepiece. Super-Luminova light source
• Water resistant to 5 ATM
• Acrylic glass
• Battery hatch for ease of replacement, G10 1998 onwards takes a Renata 371 battery. 3-4 year battery life.
• Fixed bars, supplied with 18mm grey CWC strap. Please advise if you prefer a different colour
• Three year warranty
• 38mm case including crown, 36.5mm without crown
• Weight (without strap): 40g
• First issued 1980 with thousands in service
• Cabot Watch Company supplied the G10 from 1980 and was contracted by the MoD until recent times. A conservative figure of over 200,000 G10 watches have been produced for the military, based on 10,000 per year over a 28 year period. 22,000 were supplied to the Royal Navy in 1991.

Ordered Tues got it Weds great service. Had two before 1 tritium, 1 luminova both great watches, this I've had for 2 weeks and checked the time daily and it has maybe gained a thou of a second ( a quartz watch may lose/gain 3 secs a day) what more can be said great watch.

Fulfilling a long time ambition to purchase a CWC G10, I ordered this one afternoon and it was safely with me by the same time the following afternoon. It came very well packaged and presented.
