All the reviews are pretty spot on, although I think the accuracy issues have more to do with the HUGE front sight dot, but it’s also a great setup for fast or low light sighting. The ergos are slick, I’ve had a few 9mm 1911s and this is more fun to shoot. I think DSE is still selling a few parts like slides & mag extensions. I thought I read they were machining some parts so this is probably stock they got stuck with. I’ve seen a few great designs like the Whitney Wolverine go away only to be brought back by another company. DD can certainly make these up to the standards it deserves. of course, the HP9 is a pretty polarizing pistol, so this could just be a marketing ploy by the marketing company to get feedback for DD from gun enthusiasts, by making up something that isn’t coming down the pipe.
