DTC C0550 "Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Performance Reply Subscribe Thread Tools Search this Thread 01-24-2009 | 11:02 PM #1 lq9crew Thread Starter Teching In Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 34 Likes: 0 DTC C0550 "Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Performance C0550 "Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Performance" MH ($29) "Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM)" "Service braking system" message on the DIC, abs + brake lights on the dash. PCM went reduced power, only 40% throttle per EFI. Never saw this code or message/lights before, but truck has gone REP before with no codes set. First time I got to scan it. Dealer? Warranty up in 5k miles. Have stock pcm for this. Code reset immediately after clearing and restarting. SO it should do the same if I swap to factory pcm? Truck has gone into reduced power before with no codes. Truck running strong now, code present again after clearing. Thanks. I was thinking it was because of the cam not giving enough vacuum. Not sure tho. Hopefully someone knows.
