JTSZ06 J Went out to Hennessey's track today. Best 60 - 130 time was 8.6. Not very impressive, but it is what it is. I did beat an F 430 and an LP 670 on their runs in 60 - 130, they were in the 9 sec range. Also a pulleyed ZR1 ran 8.0. 1/4 mile times: I made one pass on no VHT prep on first 80 feet of track and ran 12.1 @ 124 with 2.4 60ft. I let a fellow corvette driver (he had 08 C6 with intake, exhaust, tune that went 11.7@121mphmon DRs!!!), he ran 11.8@125 with 2.1 60ft, and [email protected] with 2.0 60ft. My Z06 has 2400 miles on clock, vararam/ARH headers/dyno tune (ON DEAD BATTERY). Im pretty sure had we actually got the memory stick to read there was a world record today. A 1900 rwhp viper ran 3 back to back 3.5 60-130 passes. @ of the 3 times they couldn't get the 1/100s to display on computer, his 3rd run heat soaked was 3.55 seconds. The world record is 3.53. Sounds like you had an interesting day. Mike #3 · Nov 24, 2009 Yes, basically you throw in a Pbox, Drift box, or Vbox. roll out in 2nd gear, around 40 mph hit it. It starts logging at 60 and cuts the timer at 130. A little pucker factor because we didn't have much more room than a standard 1/4 miles track to do it. You should try it out. Don't think it'll take your car very long with all that power. They did have a gt500 with 800 rwhp that couldn't get under low 6s due to traction on DRs. Tricky part in the c6Z is getting the tires to hook in 2nd when you throttle it and shifting into 3rd quickly because it's really close to 60mph which is when the timer starts.
