aubs A I’ve changed what I thought was the G43 sensor the one under the expansion vessel but it seems I was wrong so could anyone point me to where it’s located as it’s registering as faulty. #1 · Mar 10, 2018 I’ve changed what I thought was the G43 sensor the one under the expansion vessel but it seems I was wrong so could anyone point me to where it’s located as it’s registering as faulty. The boost pressure sensor has both G42 air temp and G31 boost on it. Thanks for all the help #16 · Mar 11, 2018 It depends on what exactly which temperature you are looking at. 134.1C can't be a normal correct reading with a cold engine if it is not running at the time. If your tool is looking at live data you could try manipulating the loom down from the sensor while someone else is watching the reading to see if there is any reaction at any particular point and certainly have a look with a good light for any chaffing on the loom especially near brackets. I can't help much with what the readings are with any other diagnostic tool except VCDS but it is important to be clear about what the fault code numbers are and exactly which sensor it refers to. The other sensor you found with a broken wire would have left a code though (so you should have had two codes logged at least) By its position it could have been an exhaust temp sensor or exhaust pressure sensor. I would start again and confirm the exact numbers of any codes present and any symptoms you have and let us know. :) #17 · Mar 12, 2018 Sorry I forgot to asay the fault code that I get is 000275. I’ve did a google search duty didn’t come up with anything 0 Reply Insert Quotes Post Reply
