#1 · Feb 12, 2020 When the 43x and 48 came out, I initially was drawn to the 48. I thought it looked better and felt more balanced. It also had a softer recoil. I absolutely liked the single stack over the double stack models. I ended up selling my 48 as I was hoping for Glock to come out with a MOS version. I'm still waiting. In the interim I picked up a 365XL and have really been enjoying it. I found a vendor that makes after market slides milled to accept an RMR for the 43X, so I ended up grabbing one. I need a dot on my guns. Upon bringing the gun home and doing some dry firing I am amazed at how natural the gun points for me. I prefer the Glock grip angle as it seems natural. The 365XL always tends to point high upon presentation. I can't wait to take it to the range and do some heavy comparisons. But so far I am really digging the 43X, so much so that the 365XL may be in trouble. I definitely prefer the wider grip (front to back) of the Glock over the Sig. They are basically the same size, but the Sig has a slightly longer slide and the Glock is slightly taller. I also love the simplicity of Glocks. I would have preferred a silver slide, but they are getting hard to find. But not that big of a deal as the after market slide is coming in silver. Have a link for the 48x cut slides? #5 · Feb 13, 2020 Suarez International. The currently only have for the 43x but they said the 48 will be coming, but couldn't provide a timeline. 0 Reply #3 · Feb 12, 2020 Cant wait for the results on the P365XL. This gun has definitely got my attention. Make sure you do a comparison for us on the range. #4 · Feb 13, 2020 I own several 9mm Glocks that are now, more or less, obsolete as the result of the development of the P365. YMMV, of course. #6 · Feb 13, 2020 I like both guns for different reasons. I would be hard-pressed to pick one over the other, but might go with the XL just for the capacity, the 15 round option and optic cut.
