Hu Tao Shines Best in Transformative Teams
As a Pyro Trigger DPS, Hu Tao shines best in teams such as Vaporize or Melt where she can constantly trigger elemental reactions against enemies.
Specifically, Hu Tao wants teammates that enable her Vaporized or Melt hits as much as possible with no downtime in order to maximize her on-field time with extremely formidable damage.

While not as effective nor as potent as her Vaporize teams, Hu Tao can also function in most Melt teams as the Pyro DPS who constantly melts opponents with her attacks.
With the addition of Citlali, this team is generally more viable now due to how Citlali lowers enemy Pyro RES, allowing Hu Tao to deal substantially more damage.

While these teams generally offer ease of use and good survivability for Hu Tao, they come at the cost of Hu Tao herself dealing less damage due to the lack of buffs and a second Hydro unit.
