Joined Jan 30, 2010 Messages 153 Reaction score 0 Location Lancashire Your Mercedes S124 300D 24v, My 124 24v 300D Saloon. Registered on 1 Jan 1995 and therefore a "facelift" is going in for some paint work next week. Does anyone know the paint code for the lower plastic panels and bumpers. Top Colour is silver. Code 744. Tried ringing the local Mercedes Dealer and asked to be put through to the paint shop (I know they have one) It seems beyond the wit of the person on reception to achieve this or the paint shop are all high on fumes or something! The phone calls just kept disappearing into the ether. Many thanks. John

is the colour code listed on the plate under the bonnet anywhere? W202 sorry to gate crash

Joined Mar 7, 2008 Messages 2,092 Reaction score 6 Location cheshire cheese country Your Mercedes W107-SL W124-220te W123-230e W201 2.0 The codes are on the (delivery service history) and on the vin plate facing you when you lift the bonnet as well.There should be a number corresponding to Atlas grey 7181-all plastic lower panels were different to main body colours on all cars.
