Honda's CB1000R is a 1,000 cc standard sports bike that first entered production in 2008. The bike was initially manufactured by the Japanese automaker from '08 until 2016, but after a two-year hiatus, the CB1000R re-entered production in 2018.
This ride is part of the CB Series. This comprehensive line of Honda bikes are designed for crusing or commuting and every motorcycle in the series comes with an inline engine. As for the CB1000R in particular, it was revealed in November 2007 at the Milan Motorcycle Shows (also known as the EICMA) in order to replace the brand's CB900F Hornet, which was marketed as the 919 in the US.
With the CB1000R being around for over a decade now (aside from its two-year break), let's take a look at everything you should know about the 2021 model year's Black Edition of this ride.
The CB1000R Exemplifies Neo-Sports Café Styling
With a reptuation of understated performance and a cutting-edge design, we'd expect a lot from any edition of the CB1000R and this variant is no different. This ride comes with an all-black design covering all elements of the bike from its fork to radiator shrouds to the wheels.
There is a customized look to the CB1000R Black Edition with its wheel spokes, swingarm pivot plates, and handlebar clamp; this helps to give it a hand-crafted styling. Notably upgrades for 2021 include an under-seat USB port, seat cowl, and a fresh digital instrument display.
You can purchase the 2021 model year CB1000R Black Edition for $12,999 with an extra $475 fee in the form of a destination charge.
Specs Of The 2021 Honda CB1000R Black Edition

Notable stand features include a four-onto-one exhaust, slipper-assist clutch, open riding position, anti-lock brakes, throttle by wire, and Honda Selectable Torque Control.
Warranties And Additional Options
