There are tons of valuable resource materials you can obtain in V Rising to help you construct your castle or craft weapons and armor. However, Silver Ore is one of the most important resources you can discover in the game, as it is considered the rarest metal. In this section of IGN's V Rising Wiki Guide, you'll find how to get Silver Ore, the best spots to farm it, and what to use this precious metal for in your castle.

How to Get and Farm Silver Ore

As one of the most valuable resources in the game, it makes sense that Silver Ores would be located in a hazardous area, specifically the Silverlight Hills region. This region is located to the very west of the game's world. The best place to mine Silver Ores would be the Sacred Silver Mine, located in the region's northern half.

It is highly recommended to reach at least Gear Level 60 before venturing here, as the mine is under the control of the Church of Luminance—dominating the region with their mighty holy warriors.

Once you've reached the appropriate level, try to approach the mine stealthily using Rat Form until you get to the underground mine entrance. From there, be ready for combat. Inside will be heavily guarded by groups of holy warriors patrolling the vicinity.

Important Note: Being a Vampire means that you are susceptible to damage from anything made out of Silver. Meaning that carrying Silver Ores, Silver Coins, and Silver Ingots will cause you to take damage over time. You also won't be able to transform due to this effect.

• To mitigate the damage, you can also craft a silver resistance potion from your Alchemy Table.

How to Use Silver Ore

There are two things you can currently do with Silver Ores.

1. The first is to use your Furnace to melt the Silver Ores into Silver Ingots, and from there, you can then use it for various crafting purposes.
2. The second and perhaps the most beneficial way to use Silver Ores is to turn them into Dark Silver using a Scourgestone. This method renders the Silver damage over time effect useless, allowing you to craft late-game weapons and armor with it.
